The AbleGamers Foundation was born from the work being done at AbleGamers.com. AbleGamers.com is the largest destination on the web for the disabled gaming community. The site has taken off and the power of community is enabling disabled people to start enjoying gaming for the first time in their lives or helping those recovering from an accident gets back into the gaming that was a rich part of their lives.

In the last one year AbleGamers has grown 3029% growth with almost 10 million hits in the last year. Now averaging 1.8 million hits a month, the reach of AbleGamers.com has been a site to see. Disabled people and those that take care of them are finding a community that understands them, because it is a community of the disabled for the disabled.

Now, we understand that we are no Google, nor are we ever going to be as big as Facebook, but we are is a growing community of folks that help each other enjoy all the great things that are happening in the gaming world. Together, there is little we can't do.

Game Accessibility is the AbleGamers Foundations new kid on the block. What we are in the process of creating is a b2b portal that makers of digital entertainment software can find "how to's" and other accessibility related materials. It is not done yet, but it is up and running.
