Hey San Diego!
AbleGamers is excited to join Voodoo Ranger at San Diego Comic Con 25! Our partnership isn’t just all looks though! 100% of all proceeds from beer purchased on the Voodoo Ranger Shipwrecked ship at Comic Con goes directly to supporting our mission:
Creating opportunities that enable play in order to combat social isolation, foster inclusive communities, and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
In other words, you can literally DRINK FOR CHARITY. (Good luck explaining that bank statement to your spouse)
AbleGamers has been around since 2004 & has had a major impact on accessibility in the video game industry, thanks to supporters (Like You!)
Here are some examples of AbleGamers Impact:
- Helping create the Xbox Adaptive Controller
- Helping create the PlayStation Access Controller

- Helping 1000’s of players with disabilities get assistive tech
- Training 100’s of developers from Indie to AAA on game accessibility
- Partnering with rehabilitation centers nationally to make adaptive gaming a part of the rehabilitation process
So You Saw Us At SDCC…
What Now?
We probably had great conversations about the hours we invest in players to ensure we get them the setup they need, our work with game developers, or how your donations and fundraising efforts are the reason we can continue our work. We might have also talked about our favorite Pokémon, Fortnite, or random bands… No matter what we talked about, it was great hanging out and we look forward to the next time we meet!
